what is the frame hits advantaje of strong hook of necro and drills ??

I don’t know what it is for drills. I think it depends on how high you hit them. So, it’s hard to say.

hmmm.
theres something i don’t understand. it says that for akuma’s hit advantage for forward is +4, and that his sa1 start up is 5 frames…then how does the close forward link into sa1 work??
i dont get it…

On the framedata I have (Game Restaurant) it says close mk is +4 on standing and +6 on crouching opponents and that SA1 has a 2 frame startup so thatmakes sense. Data on karathrow.com was off by one on supers I believe, so I’m not sure where you got the 5 fame startup from.

Why nobody takes karathrow.com datas from web-archive and put them on an online website which will be more reachable?

Karathrow is an archive now, Slim probably wouldn’t care if you took it and put it in a more convenient spot like SRK Wiki, just as long as you give him credit for it. You’d also have to change the damage data because I don’t know how it was done, but it doesn’t make sense to me.

Game restaurant seems cool, but unexploitable for me, even translated with google :confused:

Sorry for reviving this thread, but I was wondering if someone ever took that data from Kara throw and made it more accessible? That or is there an alternative site to use? (Game Restaurant?) Please help me out here someone. Frame data always helps more than match vids.

hey does anyone know what happens frame-wise if u parry a move and is the a frame difference in red parrying as opposed to blue parrying ? are there more recovery frames added for the given attack or what? example, I red parry the last hit in yun’s target combo. now, would there be any difference if I just blue parried the whole thing ? do I get frame advantage by adding recovery frames to yun? how exactly does a parry work frame wise (sorry for the longwinded question)

is there a difference in frames when I parry a dive kick as opposed to a ground atk besides timing ?

is there a difference between parry weak variations as opposed to firece ones ?

so if I read a dudley and he tries to scoop me and I parry it, are there any differences from just parrying a c.lp ?

also, are fireballs linked to the player at all ? example, if urien fireballs and I parry, there is no linkage, and parrying doesnt cause slowdown to urien ?

LAST but not least, are there recovery frames for parrying ? If I parry, chun’s 4HP, are there recovery frames I need to be aware of and do these apply to all characters in general, or is it character specific ?

So, to ESN, thank you for the english frame data site.

I just finished to correct players frames data according to Brady Games book (principally, substract one frame to the karathrow.com startup data), so they should be correct for PS2 version (and maybe arcade?).

Brady Games book is not perfect at all and doesn’t contain all details of all moves(especially multihits moves and, most impeding, all GeneiJin normals and specials changes), so i don’t change these as long as i don’t have a sure source.

If you see some mistakes, send me mail or PM and i’ll correct this!

Firt off: Thanks for the frame data and the great work!

I have some questions btw: Is Ken SA3 a 2frame hitting super or a 3frame? Cuz i tryed to punish some moves with a -2 frame advantage on block with a reversal shyppu but it does not work so it must be a 3frame or some frame datas are inaccurate by 1, or im just missing something.
Also i found a weird thing, a reversal shyppu can punish ken cmk on hit but not ryu/gouki cmk on hit, they both have the same hit [-2] and blocked [-3]advantage on the list.

Again, a little comparison between Gouki and Ryu SA1, both listed as a 4 frames startup:
Ryu SA1 cannot punish some moves with a -4 on block like Gouki close HP; Gouki SA1 can punish Gouki close HP.
Gouki SA1 link after close MK on standing opponent [+4 on hit], Ryu SA1 cannot [only works with a close MK on crouched opponent, it gives +6].
Both SA links after cMP on crouching opponent [+5] and both SA can punish Gouki HK Tatsumaki [-5 on block], this may prove that Ryu SA1 is 1 frame slower than Gouki SA1 or else it has less range at point blank during the startup means Gouki SA1 is longer/larger…dunno really just asking for an answer here. :rofl:

I believe you need to subtract one frame from all of the move statups on the chart.

I believe ESN already did that in his last frame lists http://ensabahnur.free.fr/Baston/index.php , also substracting one frame from the list doesn’t answer my questions :sweat:
