3rd Strike Frame Data

since i can’t find this faq, can someone explain to me how you can link crouching shorts with ryu if hit advantage is +1 and startup is 6. i would have thought it would take at least +6/7 advantage to be able to link another short.

A crouching short with +6/7 advantage would be broken man,
short short is a chain like Ken’s MPHP so the hit advantage of the single blow doesn’t matter here, it’s just this way.

Here is the Google link for the translated version of the Japanese site with all the frame data on it. This even has throw ranges, how much meter is built if hit, blocked or whiffed, stun value, and much more. It’s pretty cool:

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhome.att.ne.jp%2Fstar%2FGR%2F3rd%2Findex.html&langpair=ja|en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools

I reccomend the add this link to the first or second post of this Thread, seeing as Kara Throw is down. There does seem to be a back up however which can be found at :

http://web.archive.org/web/20040414033250/http://www.karathrow.com/chunli.html

This is the Chun Li page, but you seem to be able to link to the other characters with no problem.

Hope both sites are of some use, and if it’s already been posted, sorry.

cheers leva, i forgot about this thread. makes sense now.

Nice link Golden_Gunman… The engrish is kinda whack, but still great nonetheless.

(lol at Akuma = “It is great Ogre”)

is there a site with the frame data cuz the ones on the thread are down and i cant find anything on the japanese site.

EDIT: After testing, Chun-li, Yang, and Urien’s pages aren’t indexed.

I love you.

These Frame Datas are from the Dc version or from the PS2/ARC version ???

These are not from the arc-version as far as i know. They are for the dc-version meaning they’re pretty useless today. There are better and more accurate sites when it comes down to framedata about 3s.

What is the frame data for dashes and back dashes ?
Just to know if I can low jab on reaction to dash-ins.

there was a link a while back. try a search cause i can’t find it…or just ask JinraiPVC; guy is the man when it comes to frame data

http://web.archive.org/web/20041103193058/www.karathrow.com/tables.html

Sorry, unless I’ve misunderstood the table, it says that Makoto’s Jab doesn’t chain into itself, when in fact it does. A minor thing, but I thought I’d point it out.

and they would be… ??

Is there a link to the FAQ? Figured I’d read that before asking questions.

Doesn’t the Bradygames strategy guide have Frame Data?

Yeah it would make life easier if someone could post a link to the FAQ.
