80% of the players in that Top 8 are top players and veterans(TK, Mester, Spellmaster J, AFM, RX). Just because Nuki, Boss, Kuroda etc were probably not around doesn’t mean that any of these guys in the Top 8 are pushovers.

Nuki was probably commentating the event, Boss/Rikimaru were probably working or something, and Kuroda rarely ever joins events that has Nuki in it. lol

so Kuroda still plays? I haven’t followed enough but I always hear about people talking like he’s retired or w/e.

He was in the last Touzaisen, playing Necro. A lot of people seem to agree on one thing: his Necro’s not good and he needs to switch to another character. haha
