i really can’t understand why when a guest d join my game the system just keep saying “waiting for player 2”… how the hell am i supposed to know wheter i can or cannot host?!

yeah, i sent quite some feedback… i hope damdai doesn’t find me annoying 
for now 2 things i find fundamentally annoying about Supercade:
- having to wait in a “session” for players to join. challenging opponents was more direct and involved no waiting
- no lobbies discourages people to play less popular games they otherwise would play. everyone hosts “sessions” for something they don’t have to wait in a lot to get a game started
I second that ; great ideas.
1/ Something more to solve the absence of multi-rooms ? Choosing a single game is frustrating compared to what 2df allowed.
2/ Why almost nobody host a session (max i saw was 7) ??

I’m heartbroken by this 2df replacement. So many problems with it
- I liked being able to decline some challenges. I found yesterday I was playing the same guy over and over, even when I tried to find new opponents he would just re-challenge
- I liked being able to see all the people in the room, and pm or challenge people who I can count on for a decent match
- Am I the only one ever hosting or what? I’ve never even seen someone in North America who I could challenge
- I don’t miss the spamfest and garbage of regular chat, but I used to pm friends all the time
- Nobody is ever hosting…
I pretty much assume that the whole simplified site and client design with limited functions and no more replay is Damdai taking a step back from what was a massive project to begin with. I respect that and understand.
While I sincerely appreciate what was done with 2df and all the work that came with it, Supercade is a poor substitute. RIP 2df.
You guys are being silly. Damdai improved the game playing aspect of 2df. If you wanna chat or setup matches use msn or aol ect ect. The chat was stupid on 2df, it just pissed off poeple who came there to play. You guys arent even complaining about the lag issue’s. Chat would slow down games and really nothing good came from it. Same with the forums. I think damdai is working smart instead of hard. One thing i ask is put ping restriction to 170 PLEASE.
No one pays for 2df but everyone complains at the drop of a hat. If you wanna complain at least be reasonable. Dont be so EMO poeple.
The site is very bad for people who can’t host, and 90% of the time, hosts that were on 2DF just sat in the lobby waiting to be challenged. Another mistake.

The fact is, the new 2DF is too much of a hassle to get playing, and it’s the worst for people who can’t host.
Any remedy to the thing telling me my Karnov roms are missing? I’m looking in the folder and everything it wants is right there.

I agree that a change is welcomed, currently 2df isn’t like it used to be, but I’m seeing Damdai is still in the middle of the process so things may change and even become better
Anywyas, my ideas for improvements [Gonna e-mail them to him too]
- Multiple Rompaths [I used all 4 of them and I guess I’m not the only one]
- Aquashark’s idea for “auto save replay” feature is a great idea [Just define the path for where to save them]
- Ability to be in multipile game rooms [Or at least have a favorite games list like AS’s idea]
- Option to see a list of who’s online and challenge them in their favorite games
- Upgrade of the nFBA emu [MK2, UMK3, VF2 and more games added since the last revision]
- Ability to PM users

I am having trouble hosting.
Supercade is complaining that my ports are not open, but they are.
I was able to host fine with 2DF, but not with supercade.
Did anyone else experience a similar problem?
Supercade login is not saved like 2df and I must re-enter all the times
I can’t host and friends that can host cannot see my hosted games.
