What’s Dantes optimal team?

I personally like Dante-a/Vergil-y/Magneto-a and Dante-a/Vergil-y/Doom-b.
Why does Dante need random factor to be better than Doom? Can’t you just play solid and win? >_>
The match ups I see Dante struggling with are Spencer, Wolverine, Zero, and Viper. Top tier. No surprises. All of which are much more manageable if you can pop DT. Doom just gets his pipes cleaned. Everyone else I feel like it’s even or he beats.

I wouldn’t say Dante even struggles with those bad match-ups. He can beat Spencer pretty handily by playing solid (really, what a surprise there) and even Wolverine and Zero are manageable, even if you do have to play better then your opponent and even that might not be enough. Viper’s the only one that requires you to really get in your opponents head because her buttons are just so damn good against a lot of what Dante wants to do.
Magneto does pretty damn good against dante as well imo. To the point I’d argue it’s a disadvantage matchup even. It’s definitely a worse matchup than wolverine since dante is one of the few characters who has a safe invincible move even if it is kinda telegraphed. Not to mention Magneto’s mixup I feel is a bit stronger and Magneto / Doom is pretty rough for Dante.
The thing with Dante is any bad match-up can be in the other guys favor and none of them are so far out of Dante’s favor that he can’t come back.
alright I think we should start putting Frank in S tier. Lvl4 or 5 is just way too strong, easy to set up and he has a great assist to boot
Even if we’re counting all of Chris G’s victories at Big Two, Doom still wins that contest.
He’s regularly used by Chris G, FChamp, Infrit, MarlinPie, and at least a half-dozen other pro players. Doom got more results than anyone.
Note: I’m not saying that makes him “da bes”. Just saying that he’s shown his face (so to speak) more than anyone else.

I wouldnt say SCR grand finals was purely won by Wolverine. Vergil played a big hand in it.
The problem with point morrigan is she doesnt have any good mixups off a snap. Anchor vergil was a problem in those games but Morridoom cant just snap him in and do some bs mixup on him. Any other spencer/bolts, zero/jam team can just get rid of problems at will with snapbacks.
Chris G would be literally outplaying him the whole game and Vergil would run through his team in seconds. Vergil is like December 2011 anchor wesker except vergil has better ways of forcing you to die thanks to his retarded normals, teleports, speed and spiral swords super. He cant die to flooding the screen like other anchors do.
I think his incoming options are weak yes, but against morridoom where morrigan doesnt have any overbearing incoming mixups that doesnt really matter.

Damn 5 Dooms in top 5 is just the worst, if top players were smart there’d have been at least 10 Dantes in top 5.
Wolverine didnt decimate chris’ team every game. When he got away the matchup played how it should for the most part. Thats fine. Thats just how pixies vs zoners work. Thats why I dont really have a problem with Wolverine even though hes amazing. I enjoyed all the Wolvie play from Jwong, Angelic and PR this weekend, even though yes he is easy and has derp stuff. I think Rufus is easy and has derp stuff too but its still more skillful to win with him than Seth.
Vergil anchor however just has complete control and theres little you can do to stop it unless you have the power to stop him from touching the ground.
Are we still going to prevend that Doom being 6 teams is more important than the team won the tournament?
