that’s awesome, but the problem what that setup in particular is that you don’t have too much neutral assist help for strider due to the assists, but shouldn’t that also work with the jam session extension? the jam session one without the ground bounce with the super jump round trip

Hey guys, gonna introduce this new game. Early on people are going to say X, one of the simplest characters to pick up, is the best character in the game. In light of that, a large majority of the players will start using X just because he’s X. Then, X will by some unlikely chance be on a number of top ranking teams in a tournament. Consequently this will be evidence that X is the best player in the game.

I’d rather use that to determine a characters worth than talk up characters who aren’t placing. Also just because a character is simple doesn’t mean the character is bad. Also just because a character is difficult doesn’t mean that character is good.

I know people have known ways to circumvent his damage problems for a while now. Just thought it would be a good reminder that Strider has the potential to be busted on point.

dante and doom are both good but i’ll give the slight edge to doom overall.

lets keep it real, everyone gets hit by footdive despite him having more bad matchups than dante. dante has similar BS with his helm breaker but its slower and doesnt always lead to kills.

missiles is a more oppressive assist. jam session is just damn good, you can even say “[S]fair”[/S] (EDIT: fuck zero/jam session).

what gives doom the advantage is the stupid tac mechanic. 3+ meter builing tacs and infinites makes characters like phoenix usable again.

except vergil is the one doing all the work/damage. i dont think tag combos work anywhere or against everyone.

cool combo, only problem is Strider is no good on that team. he needs neutral assists to safely setup his super busted mixups, and that team has none. going for TACs is a better way to circumvent his damage issue. strider/doom/dante

Strider is second only to Firebrand in the “let someone else do damage for me” contest.

Some of the characters that work with their raw tag stuff also carry good assists for those two as well.

Yeah you can hard tag doom off a firebrand combo. Maybe you could hard tag doom off that Strider setup.

Spencer has won 2 majors. That means he’s twice as good as Dante.
