With the way the NFC East is going, the winner is gonna back their way into it…sort of like last year. Only you know…Giants won the Super Bowl.

I hate that this team is capable of doing better than this. I don’t complain about the Sixers sucking it up every season because them just making the playoffs is overachieving IMO. This Eagles team has no business being in a 24-0 hole at the end of the first half. We put our defense in bad situations due to bad offensive play calling. Our pass/run ratio is so messed up, teams will live w/ getting caught off guard w/ McCoy getting a 20-30 yard run. It was made clear last week that this offense thrives w/ McCoy being the first option. The Eagles are the only team that pass on first and second down, then run play action on third and long - like who do we think we’re fooling w/ that?
Also let’s be real - Vick is an average QB when he’s not running. They’ve convinced him not to - which would be fine if he could get some decent protection. Even when he gets the ball out he’s getting whacked clean.
Most teams problems come from personnel and general lack of talent - ours come from bad play calling and all-around bad game plans.
i honestly dont think u can blame vick for anything, and i think he is better than average. Vick is like a untammed Beast, no one knows how to properly orchestrate a gameplan that utilizes his strengths, and it is clearly apparent that O-line cannot protect him. i agree though, that team should be built as a run first offense, but hey its andy ried we talking about, has he ever been right in the head?
