Because rich owners think they’re above their players as human beings, and believe they can change them just by shaking their finger at them and going “ok you’re in the NFL now, no more shenanigans out of you Sonny!” And when you have that much money, you’re never wrong. So every previous example of this shit exploding in owners/GMs faces gets thrown out the window and lands right next to common sense and the bodies of anyone who dared disagree with you.
On the plus side, we get to laugh at them when he goes back to the hood and shoots someone. Unless you’re a Ravens fan. But if you are, I’d guess you’re more worried about Flacco anyway. Losing Jones would be a minor inconvenience.
I find that to be BS. He probably ignored the phone calls from his agent and I wouldnt be surprised that something was mailed to his home. That nigga is lying
the pass rush and run defense was more of a problem than the secondary IMO. i think we lead the league in most takeaways…so our secondary wasnt that bad. we just couldnt get any pressure on anyone and people ran all over us.
Could you update the first post to include fantasy info? I know it’s super early, but I think we’re going for a tradition sort of thing.
Mzenken will run League 1 again, I’ll run League 2. Prize is up again for the winner between Leagues 1 & 2. We’ll probably start updating with sign ups when ESPN allows leagues to be created.
Should we have trades by league approval instead of league manager? Personally I like LM only just due to the fact that waiting on several others to approve a trade would screw trading parties over etc.
Look, I know doing it by LM is easier and faster. The only problem is if the league manager doesn’t veto trades that seem ridiculous. No disrespect, Kaz, but a couple of the trades you approved seemed sketchy at best.

But really, I’m a fan of LM approved trades because of the speed.
I meant to ask because you never said anything, you did get the gift card I sent you right?
In any case, I look at it this way-- if someone wants to screw up their team, let it be. Who am I to stop them? Granted one trade I was involved in, the other I wasn’t. I don’t think it’s fair to deny people. I propose to make it fair in others eyes, in both leagues LM post trades here before approving and if there’s any traction of one being lopsided they’ll be denied. Seems fair enough to me.
Welp with rumors about Ed Reed’s head not fully into I’m completely ready for the Ravens to go into rebuilding mode imo. Time for me to put all my fandom into my Bears and also the Giants then.
Kinda interesting that while the league is running around like headless chickens the thread is strangely silent on Junior Seau’s suicide and the lawsuits.
Yeah I got it. I don’t remember what I spent it on though.
Here’s the thing… yeah, if one team screws his team up “Who cares”. But, the other team will then be stupidly loaded. Thus, making it less fair for the rest of us.

Lesean McCoy just got paid. Is he the best RB in the nfl? No. But I’d take him over ANY of the 2nd tier (Foster, MJD, Forte)
