MY team:
QBs - Stafford and Rothelisberger
RBs - Reggie Bush, Jonathan Stewart, Pierre Thomas, Ronnie Brown
WRs - Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Jeremy Maclin, Michael Crabtree
TEs - Witten, Owen Daniels

As you can see, I’m stacked at wr, shitty at rb. Got a trade offer today.

CJ Spiller for Andre Johnson

Obviously I’m not gonna accept this retarded trade. However, his team has some players I like

Qb - Tom Brady
RBs - CJ Spiller, Alfred <Morris, Adrian Peterson, Cedric Benson, Darren Sproles
WRs - Welker, Reggie Wayne, D Bowe, Tidus Young
TEs - irrelevant

I dont understand why you are so bitter…no where does it say they think less of thier opponent or that they belittle them, they are simply stating that they beat themselves. why is that so hard to understand. every team goes into a game with a gameplan, if they didnt properly execute thier gameplan, of course the first thing will pop into thier head was “i didnt execute what i came out here to do” which is in essence we beat ourselves. now of course the REASON they couldnt do what they needed to do was because the 49ers were able to do what they wanted to do. and best beleive going into the locker room and watching film they know this better than anyone. honestly who gives 2 fucks if they dont praise thier opponent, what the fuck does that have to do with anything?

I was the “nothing but an air game can’t save you forever” guy that predicted the Packers would miss the Superbowl last year so I’d be more than happy to see them get blown up by more balanced teams again.

It’s a pity Denver doesn’t get a chance at the Packers, the Manning/McGahee combo would make that defense weep.

It’s arrogant. You claim that Jay Cutler is cocky and that’s why you hate him. Not giving another team credit for beating you (at least Aaron Rodgers did, so I’ll give you that) is extremely cocky and being an asshole (the implication is, again, that the Packers are so good that no one can beat them, they can only beat themselves). When you do it once, that’s frustration, so okay, I understand. Doing it twice, once to a team that won the Superbowl and another team that was 2 fumbles away from the Superbowl; then you’re being arrogant and being an asshole, plain and simple.

I like the Thursday game format. Nothing else is really on TV Thursday nights anyway.

But on another note, I’m depressed about my fantasy team as well. I could be looking at missing the playoffs for the first time ever, sadly. Has anyone thought about making trades in League 2 or is everyone going to wait another week or two?

So in my 3rd league im not sure what to do here , its a 4 WR Max - 2 Points per 5 Receptions

Rest of my team is solid but my WR’s are not .

Obviously Bowe and Decker are fine and I took Britt as my WR4 as a gamble .

there is Crabtree in FA and Rice is likely to clear waivers , should i drop Blackmon for either ?

I think the unfair trade would be Gronk for Witten and Matthews (who isn’t supposed to play until week 6 from what I heard?) in your favor. If he bites, its his loss, but should Witten come back around to his normal self, including The Law Firm in that trade with him would be in his favor IMO. I think it would be too early for this type of trade since it’s based on potential in a lot of ways.

The Jets never cared about winning any games in the first place, otherwise they wouldn’t have traded for Tebow. The only thing they care about is media exposure which comes from a massive inferiority complex from the Giants being an actual team, winning 2 SBs in the last 5 years. Why go through the actual work of becoming a strong, capable football team and gain notoriety that way when you can just turn yourself into a media circus?
