up until now, i haven’t had any problems with burkes moves…and i don’t really have that much issue with these ones. Except the leafs have been down this road before taking chances on players that turn out to be a wash…mark bell anyone. McCarthur is one thing…he wasn’t and injury prone lemon. He also was in a contract year. so we will see how he turns out now.

meh, I like the fact he is only giving these guys 2 year contracts. For AGES Toronto was plagued by dudes who would play well for one year, because it was a contract year, then get a 4 or 5 year contract, for many million a year, and then just shit the bed (cough cough DARCY TUCKER cough cough).
