2011-2012 NFL Discussion and Fantasy - Payton and RG3, where they going

Hahaha, everyone’s trying to jump on this gravytrain. Lol if the Eagles don’t make the playoffs this season, or get peaced out in the 1st round.

Iggles better win the fucking super bowl so I can go to a parade.

But I have so much fun making fun of the Eagles for never winning a ring. I can’t even do that to the Skins, lol. They can’t take that away from me. =(

no matter how good the players are, i am certain andy reid’s on gameday coaching mastery will keep them from a ring

20+yd throwing plays on 3rd and short and kicking the fg in all red zone situations, especially when it’s 4th and inches at the goaline is how real champs play.

I don’t follow the Eagles super close, but isn’t Andy Reid known for end-of-game clock mismanagement? I feel like I watched a few games where his poor clock management put his team in a tremendously bad spot. Eagle fans, concur?

With all of the Eagles hype, I’m glad that they have the limelight, and I’m glad that many experts are anointing them the team to beat in the NFC over my G-Men. Because that takes more drama off of the Packers, and hopefully the arrows aren’t as targeted on us, but actually at the team from the brotherly love.

Let this roll, and I’m hoping that the G-Men do repeat. Please don’t have 15 million people on IR again, good gosh, that was terrible. I’m hoping for a 13-3 finish, that was my $100 dollar drop in bid.

I ain’t talking shit or doing nothing. I believe we are the team to beat in the NFC North, and honestly, the Lions are now starting to scare me, well, at least their D-Line is. If the new guy is all he is, then they can definitely compensate for a not so good secondary.

Just look at the mid-late 90’s Packers…well, okay, our secondary was heaps better then the current Lions back then (Eugene and Butler were better then anyone on the current Lions by far), however it wasn’t as good as the current Packers. More importantly it was because of our dominant D-Line that compensated for the secondary as well. Maybe I’m thinking ahead, however with that sort of line, it will be problematic if the G-Men don’t hold up in the trenches.

In my opinion, the days in which the Lions were supposedly free "W"s are gone. If Safford can stay alive enough for the entire season, they are a legit team in the North.

Regardless the Green and Gold should be the ones to control that division anyhow.

I’m too sick to comprehend that post.

there are 4 slots left in league 1 and one more in league 2.

I try to get in league 1 I guess altho I don’t know jack shit about fantasy.
I try it this year. I be on it this weekend assuming it is not too late.

The lockout has made this season strange and interesting with so many trades
and they are still not done.

it doesnt matter, league 1 more like league not good

you will prob win it.

It’s actually 2 left in League 2.

Still waiting on Black Jesus to join…

Pittsburgh Steelers (including Roethlisberger) will be part of the filming of “The Dark Knight Rises” @ Heinz Field this weekend:

oh sweet it will give the added realism to the movie kind of like when terry bradshaw was in smokey and the bandit 2

akuma, frozen

Fix your field: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/football/nfl/08/05/bears.soldier.field.turf.ap/index.html?sct=nfl_t2_a15

I’m no Eagles fan and I don’t really want to see them make it… but I gotta cosign with them being a force to reckon with this year…

Not happy with the Giants losing Boss, even if I do like Oakland. I still think theyll make the playoffs this year but Philly isn’t going to be making it easy for anyone

Only fire can fix that awful turf. The whole field needs to be dug up, set on fire, and replaced with the hybrid turf you guys use.

Like, when you have Bears players saying that the field is unsafe and not good (Urlacher last season), you know you’re field sucks ass. Do the Bears organization run that or is it some realty/business company that leases the field to the Bears?

Soldier Field is owned by the Chicago Park District. It must cost them a ton to constantly re-sod (and still have it be shit), so why not use a better system? You’d think after years of this they’d finally invest a little in a proper surface and drainage system. Maybe once somebody snaps their leg or something.

People have been wanting astro turf for the longest but then you look at the injury factor, the chicago park district need to do something about this because it’s been going on for to long. If they can make something that’s equal or better than the sod where it doesn’t tear up as much, they need to make it happen…until then we have the sod or whatever the hell that is.
