Was Hajime No Ippo released in English, even under a different name of sorts? I think it hasn’t so I’m not going to count votes for them for the time being. If I’m wrong than let me know.

Like I said, at this point everyone needs at least 2 votes - they are eligible if they have been featured in an American comic prominently for the most part - to make the final list so things like this aren’t an issue for the time being. Depending on how things go, people may even need 3 votes to get a nod, but it’s hard to call at this point. Everything depends on the turn out…

Ultimate Spidey has 2 votes already, may or may not seperate him from regular Spidey since regular Spidey is doing really well. Depends on the final outcome.

Hmm, I think you’re right. I know HN Ippo was released as an anime in English, as Fighting Spirit (IIRC) but manga/comic-wise, no. That’s cool. I already have a pretty decent list. :bgrin:

Yeah Gon’s manga has been released in the US. DC under their CMX imprint is re-releasing it here unflopped too, they have one more volume to go. Tekken 3 guest star, hooray! :tup:

  2. Ash J Williams. I love the new Army of Darkness series. I wish there was some more epic crossovers like the Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness series.

  3. Deadpool. Who doesn’t love the Merc with the Mouth? I hope to see him appear more often.

  4. The Maxx. I miss this comic book. I use to watch it on MTV back when MTV was good.

  5. Rick Grimes. I love the Walking Dead series. I wish it was made into a television series.

  6. Luke Cage. I like him as the leader of The New Avengers. bad ass.

  7. Spider-Man. I liked him more before that One More day crap. How could they let that happen to such a great character ?

The limit for votes is supposed to be 20, but people have gone over here and there and that’s fine I guess. If I remove your team votes it’s a little over 20, about 27 so that’s okay.

Yeah, no team votes really. That’s an incredible amount of headaches. I’ll take votes for TMNT since someone voted for them already, they are 4 characters I know and don’t have to bother googling them. Plus their roster never really changes. :looney:
