Technically, yes, it is. However, you can only pull that tab, by pulling the trigger. There is no other lever anywhere else on a Glock/M&P/PPQ, etc, that you need to flick in order to be able to pull the trigger.
A trigger safety is not something that you can “leave off”. It is always on, until you pull the trigger, unlike an external safety. Hell, SIGs literally have no safety at all, trigger or otherwise.

When I first heard this yesterday, I straight up laughed out loud. It’s so…ridiculous and clearly the reality 'Murcia deserves for all its (sexual) love of guns when a bunch of people–I’d argue the majority–are way too irresponsible to actually deserve being allowed to own a gun. Clearly she never even took a basic gun safety class. You know she fucked up when even the cops on the news that would defend this shit just on virtue of her being a white woman are basically like “yeah, she fucked up big time”.

Just because it’s a gun issue doesn’t automatically mean that everyone should be disallowed to own guns like so many gun lovers portray any attempt at instituting sensible gun laws as and I say this as someone who is anti-gun in general.
