Fomenting hatred after decades, no centuries, of systematic abuse from the establishment means the heated kettle will eventually get whistling hot.
Some people often internalize the community’s anger and lash out, regardless of the consequences, usually due to some instability.
This unfortunately will create an even more vicious circle, where beat cops will feel the need to be more “vigilant” (i.e. paranoid). Which leads to more harassment and needless deaths of ordinary folk.

@bious, as “unjustified” this is, that is the reality that the “department” brings
to itself. If the department doesn’t want shit like this to happen to its members, then it shouldn’t behave and demand the shit it asks its officers to follow. some cops don’t want to follow, but do so out of fear. These officers need to realize their silence is going to create tension and result in the death of civilians, and friends on the force.
No sympathy from me, after all the shit the department of police does in New York. They brought this behaviour unto themselves.
Funny thing is, once people start getting into shoot outs with cops and one of their boys gets hit, you know what their gonna do? They’re gonna call 911 for an ambulance. They will use the same city response that put cops out there in the first place.

I take it you’ve never been to Bed-Stuy in Brooklyn. People get shot all the time. The only reason this made the news is because the media can connect this to their current police vs blacks gimmick to keep all of you distracted from all the real issues.

Police vs blacks is a legitimate issue in this country. The police have, for centuries, been used to dehumanize black people and they still do. Every other month there’s an article showing the deep flaws and planted racism in the police almost everywhere in the country. So yeah, this should be news.

The media is trying to turn this country into blacks vs whites and it’s doing a pretty good job so far.
What will happen next is more protests and more dumb blacks starting violence.
The media will continue to “report” on behalf of the government/corporations while brainwashing you and you will think that they’re neutral (aka don’t shoot the messenger).
Before you know it, the average citizen will have even less rights/freedom and will become even more poor, regardless the color of their skin.
