2 New Smash Bros inbound!

I’m talking about melee… Brawl is mechanically broken, so it doesn’t matter if items are turned on or off in brawl.

So was I.

‘Mechanically broken’.

Hahaha~

What is so funny? If you like to sit there and poke each other all day because there is no hit stun and air dodging is so powerful that it’s a “get out of jail for free” card, then go have fun.

I am / did / have done / will continue to do so.

That’s why I’m laughing.

Ok, well that clears things up. Good day, sir.
I still say:
Melee with items and crazy stages >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brawl with items and crazy stages

Oh by the way, Items are not ‘completely random’ in Brawl. The items drop at set intervals depending on how high the frequency. I can’t remember the exact timing(and will be damned to dig up the thread on Smashboards), but it’s something like every 12-15 seconds on the default setting. They also have specific spawn points on each stage… The only thing ‘random’ about them is you never know which spawn point will activate or which item(depending on what’s turned on) will drop. So basically, you can form a strategy around making sure your opponent is not near a spawn point when the timer activates the item, forcing an interesting dichotomy-- “Do I camp like crazy and play safe, risking my opponent getting an item drop that will threaten me, or do I stay in his face and make sure he can’t get ANY items when they drop, forcing confrontation, or some combination of both?” That sounds like a fun game(and strategic as well)…

Unfortunately, the people that were doing all of this research were either run off of Smashboards, or have given up as no one listened to them.

I couldn’t care less about brawl, it’s boring casually and competitively. However, I can see where your going with this (reminds me of memorizing the item spawning intervals in Quake), and I wish it was possible to apply this to melee.

I would still hit it. :coffee:

But It’s not boring casually.

All my casual friends think so. They say “it moves like molasses compared to melee”. However, I can see the benefits of being able to eat my chicken sandwich while playing.

Oh.

Well ‘my casual friends’ say it’s the bees knees and I’d like some more if you’d please.

Also I eat chicken sandwiches whenever I want.

I never played in tournaments, and none of my friends know the existence of competitive smash. Quit making assumptions… Sorry, but brawl sucks no matter how you play it.

Oh.

Well I’m a certified casual player, I went to the class and got my papers for it and everything, so my word is better then yours, no matter how I say it.

Pics or it didn’t happen…
Yes, doing the laundry is definitely more fun than brawl. I thought video games are supposed to be fun.

Also, Brawl is fun~

I meant to say “Samus’s ass is insane (mad)”.

Damn, your good… OK FINE!! >:(
Brawl is fun, but melee and 64 are funner.

I like Brawl better, but that reply is one I’m very much satisfied with.

:3

Chibi, as much as I don’t agree with your opinions about Brawl,

that reply was gdlk.

All in good fun <3
