The fact that many members still read this forum says it all really. Also reading / posting on this forum is a nice distraction from the day to day stress of life.
EDIT: I completely forgot to post about the stuff that was kinda humbling from the community:
LONG ago (maybe 6 or 7 years ago) a few people from SRK went to gaia online in a “raid” like manner. I remember furries, and “cutters” and all types of other life altering shit like that.
I remember first getting on SRK since I got so pissed at Tekken 4 that I wanted to switch games and started learning 2D. Only to learn that I should’ve learned Marvel 2 instead of Tekken because it’s like comparing a plate of lettuce to a Mack truck. Yea I don’t know either but yea and I also remember trying to get people to play Guilty Gear on here too during XX/X2 days.
That’s probably because I played everything else at the time, because of Tekken 4, I picked up CvS2, 3S, A3, MvC2, GGXX, Melty Blood, Soul Calibur, VF4 and Tetris. Okay I lied I’ve always been hardcore Tetris.
I still remember us playing at EP’s, you inspired me to play I-no after that, you showed me she was beast-mode in sex form lol
To me, it says the game they’re playing is horrible. For reference compare how daigo plays SF4 to every other SF game before. Especially matches from this years Evo. EXTREMELY sloppy play.
