I left a “theocratic” organized religion (that means that they think they should be the government), and I won’t be joining another one, by force or otherwise. Regardless of the origins, you can expect me to be arming up against anyone who thinks that worship trumps humanity and the freedom to be as you please.
Can’t we just wipe them all out? Completely? Sure it’s morally wrong to annihilate another being…but with the way things are working now adays people just aren’t caring anymore. There just aren’t enough bloodthirsty white people to wipe out 1.5B Muslims. In fact, there are I’m pretty sure more Muslims than white people in the first place, it takes a lot of resources and effort for minority oppressors to keep a majority group under their thumb, and killing them outright usually gives that majority time and motivation to unite and destroy that minority oppressor.

I knew someone was going to say that after i typed that, but i figured id still leave it there. The context of it when put in totality is just that i dont understand how people are shocked that there are terrorist willing to kill people for their ideals, on a planet with as large a population as we have, and as complex as its societies are. That there are human beings in general regardless of their religion that would do this. At the end of the day, muslim extremist are just a fact of life, as are rapist, murders, drug addicts, drunks, etc…
I never said to shrug your shoulders and do nothing. I’m just confused how people think this is something special, when human beings have NEVER stopped killing each other in the name of their beliefs, or simply out of boredom, pride, political agendas, you name it.
The quicker people control their emotions about shit like this, and stop acting brand new about terrorist and people in general who are willing to kill other people, the quicker we can get to better solutions to deal with these issues. I’m going to preface this by saying I’ve only met a handful of muslims. Last year when I visited the Ahiska/Meskhetian Turkish community center in Dayton for school. I lived in rural Ohio for the last 6 years, the shit is just not diverse. So, OZ, I’m going to ask some questions and offer my opinions. I don’t mean to offend, I’m just curious.
Do you think this is a good idea? I’ll get to your logic you cite for it in a minute. You don’t see an issue with your neighbor being judge, jury and (in this case: literally) executioner? Like my crazy neighbor can just knock my door down and publicly hurt me (or whatever she deems appropriate?) for smoking in my room*? Or vice versa I snap out when her and her ‘boyfriend’ get into a shouting match and go over there and throw them both out a window? I know I’m an asshole, but if she really cared she could call the cops. Which is preferable to being maimed, imo. Which leads me to: how are punishments/actions decided for perceived transgressions? I know our legal system is bending to special interest so it’s compromised but it has to be better something that looks like vigilante justice from the outside.
Not everyone is muslim, or religious or has any plans to be muslim or religious though. From what I understand, could be wrong, that stands in the way of a perfect islamic state. Also don’t want strangers/neighbors all in my business (that may say more about me than anything else though).
