Also cruel & unusual punishment is not withheld only in cases where the accused is only found guilty of crimes that are not cruel & unusual. The main point being that crime itself is cruel and unusual. Someone being raped/murdered in prison is cruel and unusual. And a crime. :tup:

I actually remember watching a british TV show called “Luther”. Luther was a cop that understood all of the sadistic serial killers that he arrested. In one of the episodes he told the murderer that he wouldn’t give him the attention/fame he wanted so he just ignored him. The serial killer was pissed off because nobody took him seriously.
I swear Columbine, Virginia Tech, the Colorado theater shooting are all screams of attention whores that want to be “infamous”. I agree that the media coverage should stop “glorifying” these mass murderers, but then how will news reporters get PAID? It’s all a got damn cycle. yeah i honestly feel that a new law should be placed for proven murder-criminals and that is letting family member of the victims have about 20-30 min alone with the criminal and do what ever the hell they want besides kill him and then let the government do the death penalty.
