Recently released inmates at Arapahoe Detention Center in Colorado are saying the only thing the inmates still inside can talk about … is killing James Holmes … this according to a new report.
Wayne Medley told the NY Daily News, “All the inmates were talking about killing him. Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.”
The paper says Holmes is in solitary confinement and was placed on suicide watch. Another inmate, Dima Damalov, told the paper that if Holmes was released into the general population he wouldn’t “live to see Monday’s court appearance.”
A jail employee said Holmes “hasn’t shown any remorse” while an unidentified inmate told the paper, “He was spitting at the door and spitting at the guards. He’s spitting at everything. Dude was acting crazy.”
Holmes is due in court for the first time on Monday. He could face the death penalty if convicted.
I do agree strongly with that picture in society’s viewpoint. I am curious about the arresting cops and how that went down.
Was he masked and gloved when they arrested him? I just want to know if they knew what race he was as they were confronting them. I would think that if he was fully masked and gloved they would have assumed he was of a different race. Now if they knew he was white, I can see why they did not kill him because even though he just killed and injured innocent people the headlines would have said “Cops Gun Down Promising Med Student at Movie Theatre.”
One thing I like about the people in jail is that when a someone who is taken to jail has been convicted or raping or killing kids(little girls especially) they usually take care of it. I just wish they were not so open about killing him and that they would not kill him but instead just make every day of the rest of his life a living hell. I feel like death will just give him an escape.
We know he did it, right? Why not just set him on fire and be done with it?

This guy went through all that trouble and even booby-trapped his place and after all that I still only have a faint idea of what his motive was. As far as I know, there’s been no reports of how it went down besides him giving himself up at or near his car. That said, given how armor he supposedly had on and the generally insufficient initial response, they probably couldn’t have easily shot him if they wanted to even if he was visibly a minority (or actually fighting back or both).
They’re rather lucky he supposedly gave himself up regardless considering how easily he could probably killed at least one of them if not more. Just like they’re quite lucky he willingly told them his place was booby trapped.
Yeah, because people in jail are so good at making correct judgments and doling out “justice” and everyone who’s convicted of such charges is assuredly always guilty.
