(11/20 PSN!) SG: Slightly Different Edition patch notes

Man, if I could sit down to play Skullgirls in an arcade over here that would be some serious hype. Of course Ravi doesn’t actually mention an arcade version specifically, so I’ll just leave that in the Here’s Hoping pile.

MyLifeIsAnRPG mentioned this before, but with the serious amount of changes in this patch maybe rebranding it as a Super Skullgirls with a new splash title screen would actually be a good thing here. I mean, new colors, new tutorials, a massively expanded training mode, game changing balance tweaks across the board, various bug fixes and move lists is a pretty incredible free patch. It deserves to get a bit of recognition in the media.

A new sub title title would certainly garner more interest from game news sites and their readers than just a patch with a lot of stuff in it - especially since this is coming for free and everyone usually expects title updates (in fighters especially) to cost them something.

Ravidrath confirmed that the japanese publisher its for PSN release.

I heard that the console versions actually have a replay feature buried in the code somewhere, but it’s disabled in the retail builds. Is there a chance that the PC version will allow access to it and maybe some other features/tweaks?

Pretty sure she can. It was done on stream if I remember correctly.

Once this patch comes out I will be playing Skullgirls like a madman. I will also be buying ANY and ALL DLC when they come.

I know, right? I havent stopped playing skullgirls…unless you count spells of not playing games at all due to school work, but I love this game and want to see it succeed. We must give them our money so that giving us dlc characters, instead of just colors, will be a no brainer business-wise.

Saw this at one of the panels at Canterlot Gardens (A My Little Pony convention)
They going to have a SkullGirls panel on Saturday at 10:30 am EST it might be for the new patch for the game!
