AMR and I are building it together. I’m an electronics engineering student and plan on going with a micro-controller to handle all the inputs

I am absolutely humbled by this guys. It will be a challenge to make a real life version up to the standards of the render, but I will stop at nothing less. I am grateful for this opportunity and will make both eSport scenes proud. To those who doubt my abilities, I hope to impress you. I will try to document the whole process.

Heh, I wish my drawing/rendering skills were anywhere close to those guys. Essentially my design looked much like Voltech’s, but the mouse pad was on a lid that would lift up so you can store the mouse.
Now I’m just curious to see a regular arcade stick from AMR… O.O

I’m interested to see the functionality. What I think hindered my showing was how much focus I put on utility. I probably should have invested more in the graphics design category than figuring out a way to make it practical, haha. Oh well.

Can someone explain what this joystick mouse is and how does it provide “the rts mouse feel”
I say go for it! The only problem I see is lack of space for resting palms and wrists. Maybe adding a slanted part or a bit more space at the bottom would fix that problem. Carpal tunnel is quite a big problem in SC2 community.
