Hey guys, I’m obviously new here. A friend told me about this contest to design a stick. I noticed it says the deadline is extended, is March 31st @ midnight the current deadline or has it been extended beyond that?

Thank goodness I submitted mine… I was worried I couldn’t because it has been quite a stressful week for me, so it was hard focusing on this contest.
Nevertheless, I’ll wait for the results… Hopefully they announce it soon, so I(if I were chosen) could work on it soon. It won’t be easy for someone like me, who lives very far from US & Japan. Because it takes a while to import the parts, and then send it to SRK.
Working on it takes around 2 weeks, but it’s the other factors like importing & exporting that make this contest…more challenging. I won’t say difficult, because otherwise I’ll look worried & not confident…

I wish I came back and read through this thread. The prizes sounded enticing, especially when it included the cost of the parts. However, the original idea of posting the designs here put me off. I figured it would be too easy to copy and improve on someone else’s design, especially if someone posted a good idea early on. Oh well, good luck to those that entered.
After checking out this site last night, I’m REALLY glad I found it! I need to make some KOF friends!!!

Thanks, the buttons are **Sanwa OBSC 24mm. **The joystick is from an old xbox controller, with a custom made joystick. The joystick rises about .75 inches above the face.

Here are your contest winners! First I’d like to say that i was really impressed with the quality of the submissions to the contest. I had high hopes for this contest, and was not disappointed. This was a brutally tough contest to judge, especially when picking a final winner. The top two designs were both exceptional, and each brought a lot of unique ideas to the table.
