Still laughing at the fact that I represent all of gamergate being one random dude that talks about it every once in a while on one forum, doesn’t have or follow Twitter and barely uses his facepage. But when you get these groups of “those” ppl acting a fool you got the same bird turds screaming “nafalt”…
If you can’t keep up with a simple conversation why do you participate? You just needed a place for your fingers to hangout besides your asshole so you layed them on your keyboard but got figgidy from the bad cut in your coke?
"It’s hard to take something seriously even though there’s an archive full of evidence which no one can debunk."
So you are not allowed to criticize Trump’s politics because someone out there made a joke about his hair on twitter? Same logic.
Why won’t you give the same treatment to the opposition, considering prominent GG supporters or even figures that dared to stay neutral on the matter (like Boogie) got doxxed, bomb threats etc.?
But being mistreated on the internet is not what makes the GG supporters right about their claims. It’s the evidence presented on deepfreeze that does.
And like it was already said, the problems are not mainly with the activists talking nonsense, but with the journalists elevating them, and not doing their jobs correctly. The activists get criticized for their insane claims, the journalists get criticized for their complete lack of professionalism.
That and the blatant double standards. Stuff like:
Why is a known doxxer getting to host “panels against harassment” at SXSW? Being invited to google to talk about harassment etc.?
If any of the prominent GG supporters were to behave like that, the VG media would be crucifying them, even without proper evidence: https://archive.is/wuXJ1
But currently you get total silence on these matters, because “journalism”.
Do they all deserve immunity because someone said a meanie word on the internet?
The posts I made are about awful people getting a free pass to be awful people, and then getting hollywood movies to be made about their affairs. For ethics in journalism there’s the info on deepfreeze which you were given and still haven’t responded about.
err kinda. She was fucking a “journalist” who never disclosed that they had a relationship and/or beta tested the game prior to him writing about Depression Quest.
Review scores was speculation that isn’t true. No one she had relationships with reviewed her game. She did however get favorable media coverage like with the game jam reality show that she single handedly shut down by saying the producer was being sexist and a scumbag when he was doing his job to make the show as scandalous as possible, which you should probably expect when you sign up for a reality show but whatever. Then of course all the favorable coverage of the Gamergate incident itself which just so happened to be covered by a bunch of dudes she slept with.
