Zero’s a well rounded character. He’s got a bigger kit than he used to but it seems like he paid for it with a damage cut. What stones are you Zero players using so far?
I’ve been rocking Power Stone with Zero (and Jedah) and I like it. The surge gives nice and easy set ups into Lightning Loops and can help with combo extensions if you don’t use your wall bounce early in a combo. The storm grants Zero some much needed damage but it makes his combos feel awkward, but that’s fixable.
Everybody seems to do about the same damage in this game so I doubt he’ll be low damage much longer. Optimized everyone should be at about 6000k before combing into super
Zero is my favorite character, I see that his damage isn’t on the heavy side. What,would be his gameplan? Point charater? Mix ups into switch then switch back to him. What are your ideas towards playing him.
Anyone got a Solid reliable BnB with him? Feel like they tend to flip out randomly on longer combos, mainly playing Zero/Dante
I’m usually on soul gem with strider/zero. working on space and power but the storms are kinda meh.

I’ve done (some) testing and while it obviously isn’t Stone specific, Zero can block cancel -> level 3 beam super lockdowns if you’re willing to sacrifice the storm. If you have 3+ meters you can activate Storm out of block stun, use the regular level 3 and combo it into the free level 3. Kinda silly. Works well with Power Stone since the first level 3 is granted bonus damage. It’s like 80% life dealt.

zero has difficulty controlling the y axis this time around. who are you guys using as support?
I’ve been playing Zero/Hawkeye online for some full screen oppression. Clint’s got Gimlet, Kiss of Fire, Laser Arrow and Triple Piercing for some y axis coverage but I’m not convinced they’re a dream team.
