Zero Tips & Tricks that should be common knowledge (but aren't)

youd be surprised how many people dont block it the 2nd time. or 3rd. or 4th.

also, afterwards you can cross under outside of corner, or follow up with a ground grab(either direction, as long as they stay in the corner) into death. if the char doesn’t have an airdash, it’s not a bad option. but ultimately if youre not playing phoenix, LL is the best option

It may work On scrubs but how many top players will it work on? Ask yourself that.

You guys fail to realize HOW often you will ever get a clean hit in a High level Marvel match. You get that hit, You better kill or else youll get killed seriously.
IF YOU TOUCH THEM WITH ZERO KILL THEM. As diveman Said if you DONT LL or work on it you Arent playing Zero properly.

You honestly give Marvel too much credit, and you give way too much credit to the difficulty of landing hits, especially on Zero.

Also I don’t know if thats the real PZ Poy you quoted but lol if it is.

hahaha well yeah, take it easy with the loop, it takes a bit of time but don’t give up, is probably the most rewarding thing to learn in this game.

because of the subsequent mixup, it does work multiple times on top players. only top people it doesnt work on are huoshen, unknown and meep cause i play them all the time. even then, i can get away with it once in a while

is anyone else having problems with this? i tried doin it but they fall out during the second relaunch…

Do it faster (the whole combo…seriously).

do it faster like avarice said and if you need to use m sentsuizan.

i manned up and learned LL’s. i’m at about 80% consistency against good players in my scene, at an arcade. feels good.

don’t know if this is common knowledge or not but zero can also combo off of his ground back throws near or in corner only if you have a fast enough assist to hit the otg. It’s pretty useful and he can get good damage off of the ground throw as well.

I’m having trouble doing the standard combo into OTG dive, call Vergil, S, then Air S. Sometimes I can get it off, but most of the time, the Air S will whiff. I don’t really know the timing for it.

I can easily do it after air buster, lightning, s, air mmhs, otg dive, call vergil, s, air s.

I’m talking about the part at @0:10 in this vid:

I know for calling Dante at the end of the combo after doing the Vergil Part, you have to call him as soon as you touch the ground, wait a bit, then relaunch. It’s just the Vergil part that’s getting me.

You can combo off of front throws facing the corner as well

the trick is to do the assist and S inputs as closely together as possible. when i do it i wait stand for a sec after the lightning then hit assist and S very close together, assist being first

Yo I wanna start trying to use ryuejin as an AA. Can anyone get me the hitbox on it?

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

whats the point? you could just lightning them or something instead and get a combo.

Lightning’s hardly an anti-air in the sense he’s talking about. Use lightning as if it’s an anti-air’s just stupid/ suicide. Especially since It’s an air to air move.

if an opponent is jumping at me, and i jump back h-lightning into buster to just be grounded, whats the loss? hell you could even h-lightning into buster into L or M lightning and youre just covering so much ground.

the risk in doing that vs doing ryuejin is superior. not to mention ryuejin cant really followup unless you can connect the buster after, which still seems hard, and there’s obviously delay after whiffing it.

The fact that you have time to jump back clearly means it’s not a real AA situation, it’s just someone moving forward. Try doing that while you’re being pressured by drones/ missiles/ vajra with high low mixup. You’re eating a hit for free in a situation where you need that anti air to bust you out.

We’re talking about 2 completely different scenarios here, what you’re talking about is just space control which would work against super jumps- and an AA is a “get off me” attack to get someone that’s already too close.

yeah, it really just depends on his scenario. i assumed he meant someone just super jumping at him. if youre talking about being pressured by drones or missles, isn’t ryuejin terrible there? you’d end up just eating the drones/missles.

Yeah bad example, but you get the idea I was talking about jump height pressure. Ryuenjin Buster Cancel’s pretty useful when Hulk’s got you cornered.
