Zero: Best character in UMvC3?

This is why I ALWAYS go for loop, even if i fuck up im still in the mixup situation and by the third second lightning already did more damage then the damn rainbow

I don’t know about the USA, but here we went from 1 Zero player, to 4, in the past week.

Worth noting on the subject of Lighting Loop fuckups, if they’re still in the corner, fwd. H, dash fwd. H xN is unpushblockable blockstring. Add in assists and you can set up a self-unblockable for free. So if you miss the loop just go for an unblockable.

Of course, he’s one of the best at Marvel here in Portugal and one of our most travelled players. He’s handed my ass over to me in both tournaments and meetings more times than I can count. Good guy.

Would love to, but unfortunately it’s impossible for me to afford trips abroad right now =( that and I need some serious level up before I attend any tournament out of Portugal, I want to at least look like I have an idea of what I’m doing before I’m ultimately exposed :b maybe some other time I’ll be able to attend some european major and meet you people =)

Remove the lightening loop and the unnecessary raikousen going behind an enemy in the corner thing. Then maybe the salt mines will close down for a while at least.

IMO, remove lightning loop, remove cross up raikouzen and I am set. We don’t need none of those (we already are doing great damage, have great cross-ups and mixup game). Even if we did the lowest damage in the game, we still would have Sougenmu unblockables.

My only problem is, how would they remove the lightning loop?

modify the soft knockdown properties like they did with magneto standing H. at one point of HSD, they’d be able to tech before landing

Exactly. Fuck removing soft knockdown/ making it like Impact Palm with X amount of untechable frames. Minimum damage scaling may work but that’d really piss me off too. They could attempt to remove the floatiness from it too I guess…Oh god, don’t get any ideas Capcom!

This would probably be the way to go.

I won’t really like the old hard knockdown on buster. I always thought it killed the pace of the match.

They would only do that if there were several players winning tournaments off 1-hit LL kills everywhere. Dont see that happening soon

Probably because they’re difficult, heck, when i don’t drop my combos, i usually get a kill combo when i DHC into Doom sphere flame.
