Zangief's Data

Although i know its unlikely to happen during any match with zangief ( hence lack of info on it ) but what is the different between zangief’s supers? lp has more range? hp is faster? different invincibilities? I am curious about it, thanks in advance.

I’ve looked for, but never found, differences between his supers. Range is the same, distance he covers while throwing them is the same, damage is the same, frame data is the same. So in every significant way they are the same.

Don’t jumps have recovery frames? I’m sure they do.

No recovery frames if you empty jump. If you do though, you have 2 frames where you can’t block, 4 frames where you can’t attack… if I recall correctly.

Is that why on some occasions i would get grab on a neutral jump ?

NOT if you Perform it while beeing in the PreJumping frames;(Pressing UP Wait VERY short and then ppp/kkk) but else YES

There’s no use for it that I can find, and I don’t know if anyone knows this already but you can cancel the green had into the super. I don’t mean have them block the hand, then do the super. I mean a regular cancel. The problem is, they are unthrowable when you do this, even if they block the hand. Ehh…looks damn scary though.

Banishing Flat frame advantages???

Does anyone have the frame advantage data for Gief off each version of Banishing Flat and the difference between whether it is whiffed/blocked/hits?

I was going through the eventhubs framedata, and im wondering why far standing lp into far standing mk combos. According to eventhubs gief is +6 on hit after lp, and far standing mk has 7 frames of start up. Someone can explain ? Am i reading it wrong or is the frame data not correct?

How many frames do you have to FADC Gief’s EX GH? Does which frame you cancel it on affect advantage/disadantage on hit?
