I’m trying really hard to come up with some decent stick art for a red stick, with red buttons and a red ball top. The guy’s a grappler user, Zangief when available. I got some ideas from another thread after running a search in here. Here’s a rough mockup I’ve done so far. Is there anything else I could do with this? The font is definitely questionable (same one used in Wiz’s avatar!), and I’d though about adding wrinkles somehow to the background to make it more like a flag, but that’s where my creativity starts to run dry. Not to mention I have no clue how I’d get that effect.
I think a great idea would be to have a Soviet propaganda print style. That’s immediately what I thought of when I saw your design. It would convey a sense of strong super high contrast, bold imagery. And of course the national pride and patriotism that is so Gief!
Make some basic adjustments - tried to make the flag more like a flag, added some contrast, changed to the text to be Gief’s winning phrase “Bolshoi pobyeda!” (??? !!!, Big Victory), and just generally tried to clean it up a bit more.
The problem with this is that the image becomes too dark overall when printed, and Haggar is just barely visible.
