It was Infinite/michael williams who was saying that. I was there watched the whole thing. Bet $5 on steven and asked why i was doing it, i just couldnt bet against my coast. Poor steven they got to him mentally and it showed. He plays way better than that and it was just a sad site to see. As far as the shit talking goes in that match you would have to know some of the story, which i dont know fully either to understand where some of that shit was comming from but not all of it. I think the rest was just the crazyness that is the east coast.

    I put this up because I needed to look at MPEG download from HTTP servers for WMP. It’ll go down when I don’t need it around - and I’ll be clearing space shortly for Evo vids anyways, so don’t expect this to last.

I’m pretty much done capturing videos at this point. I may recapture the nine hours from the old camera, depending upon how buggy those old captures are. I’ll find out tonight if capturing them from the new camera fixes them up. Regardless, I’ve got 14 hours of footage to start going through, and will work on getting that. :tup:

Yes it is Infinite that started sayin that then some other EC echoed it. Cableguy is better than what he showed… he roomed with us (the hawaii peeps) a couple nights. I agree he got majorly mind fucked where his Cable didn’t play nearly up to standard. That sh!t was madd hype in person tho.

minor minor update: It appears clearly that recapturing the old tapes with the new camera fixes it, and that the old camera was indeed dying during playback. I recaptured tape 10 (this is where the Cableguy vs Erik money match came from) and am encoding it now, and it looks glitch-free. I’ll likely try to encode one tape a night (still trying to get Vista shipped here, and my co-worker is on vacation for 2 weeks) and may do daily footage posting until I have all ~24 tapes up. Tuesday’s vids will be Anthoneezy x3, Genghis vs Erik, Cableguy vs Erik (fixed video, hopefully), and Golden Nismor vs Erik. I have about 10GB of footage from Evo, so I may need to parcel it out anyways. =\

PLEASE let me know if you see any more glitching video: I am 99% certain now it was a problem with the Canon’s playback, but if the tapes are fucked (via the Canon recording them badly)… that’d be nice to know ASAP.

Re: Cableguy: They actually mention in the video that he manned up towards the end, and I agree with that. It seemed like he was finally able to mostly step beyond the issues in his head and play the damned game. He still screws up here and there, but I don’t know if that’s more than usual. Genghis does the same thing some. The interesting thing to me is that I didn’t hear hazing nearly this bad at ECC. Then again, maybe I simply couldn’t hear jack at the tiny tiny Break. :smile:

EDIT: Verified that the exact moment (18:35) that freaked out in the first encode works fine now in this second encode. Yay! Bacon for everybody. :tup:
