I have the whole Soo vs Eric First to Ten money match (19 games), all of the MvC2 Top 8, all of the 3S Top 8 and like 4 tapes of XvSF, mostly casuals, some pools play, and then bracket play with the last match with Justin vs Rich then the tourney was stopped and didn’t continue.

Mixup, long time how you been?
It’s my understanding that we can share everything other than the Final 8. I saw no attempts at all to record anything else - last year they actually had a VCR direct capturing bonus matches from the pools/Final 32.
Rotendo: Nice to finally meet you. You’re hella buff. I feel weak now. 
Video status: As always, I have to capture first and then I encode. I have 23 tapes to go through, and have captured 3 so far. I will try to do capture 3 a day or so. I estimate it will be about a month before I finish everything I have. I’m torn between encoding at 512kbps or 1mbps. I will likely go with 512kbps just so that I can put that much more footage up at once.
I met a lot of people down at Evo: nice to finally get faces for the names. :tup:

I don’t play MvC2 much anymore, thanks to the fact that Felicia / Tron / BB Hood is the only serious team I have, but I’ll be damned if you don’t keep me coming back for more vids.
Yeah, our team was mad random. I was running around filming stuff, Ranma was trying to find the bottom of a fifth, and Bernie was I think out betting on the tracks. I believe Hevad had a good counter-team (Cable/Sent/Cyke, or something close), but his assist got rocked by Megaman/Tron, Vercette’s Cable got 50%+ munged by opening attack of lp,tron,clk,chk (slides under as Tron OTGs), pause, lk,hk,sj,lp,lk,lp,hp, I was able to switch in Cable cleanly against Eder’s trap, and both Eder and Vercette’s Cables got peaced out by my favorite “call Megaman assist, immediately empty SJ with Cable, and then AHVB them coming down since they’ve been hit by the buster assist that eeeeeeeeverybody forgets about and MM is so short that they never saw him come out”. :lol:
Eder did damned well and did y’all proud, but that trap of his… wow, I can’t believe people fell for that. :lol:
EDIT: As of right now, I’m likely heading to Florida (Disneyworld with GF) in October, but that’s my only travel plan. I’d like to head out to NEC, but … work owns me right now.

It’s be great to see you play again… shit, the last time I saw you was in Charlotte. That was like… what nearly 3 years ago!! Early 2004, at the last Charlotte Tourney in January if I’m not mistaken.
Watching most of the WC players do well at Evo and mad top players (many not making top 8) has also inspired me to play more on my own and practicing for next year.
You think that Duc and Sanford match was inspiring, you should see Soo and Eric’s money match to ten. I’m sure Isaac and someone else who taped some matches will post what they have, but I have the entire thing and will not be able to capture them until mid Sep :sad:

Mike: It’s more the principle than anything. I can afford new sticks (hell, Potter probably feels worse about it than I do), but … I feel shitty for everybody else who got stuff jacked. If we can get rid of one bad apple, I’ll feel a lot better here. =\
Rotendo: I"ve got footage from NKI/Magnetro of Soo/Erik, but it’s filmed from a side angle, so I’m pretty sure your footage is much buffer. :tup:
Sp00ky: I just got myself a Sony HDC-3 – I’ve got to get the cabling so I can capture those. It’s pretty funny having widescreen Marvel video footage: I’ve got to remember to turn that off next time.
Yeah my Cammy/Tron usually does more but i dunno if i was actually playing the way i normally play, first time back to evo since… it was first called evo, so i was nervous. I will try to get her a better showing next evo cuz that is my team. Plus i was supposed to MM DemonHyo with his cammy but it never happened. Thanks tho Preppy. Was worried you weren’t gonna run mm since i saw the chun team.

I think the widescreen might apply well to filming crowd footage or interviews/commentary/situations where you have a bunch of people chilling in a room watching matches. I’ve been thinking about playing with it some myself.
