I’m finishing up encoding some footage from this weekend’s tournament in Portland, so that should be up by tomorrow. The downside is that the controllers were actually screwy - I found my first new type of hardware glitch in a while: button edging! I couldn’t figure out WTF was going on with the controls - I was just laughing my ass off as every tech hit failed and Cable kept jumpin’.
When we took the panel off, I kept toying around with the buttons until I realized that if you pressed the top of the button, the button spring wasn’t compressing properly and therefore not hitting the switch. First time I’ve ever seen anything like that… I mention this in case anybody else has a magically failing button even after the switch is replaced. Arcade cab maintenance sucks, but at least it’s easier (I think) to maintain than goddamn MAS sticks. :lol:
I was making some good Tron comebacks (although I was hellaciously rusty, and got hit by all sorts of stuff early on) and thinking that it’s shame that there’s not many videos highlighting Mixup’s Tron play… =\

[They changed the rep rules so you pretty much have to rep 50 other people or so before you can rep that person again. If that’s not it, and it just won’t rep, it’s because you’re stuck in the “Steel Blue” skin, which is broken for repping. You have to switch skins to get it working.]
Nah, NEC’s the date of my birthday party… I probably won’t be traveling again until at least Feb (what with work (Vista) and other stuff). Good luck at NEC. 
I recalled seeing some videos of Mixup one time, he was demonstrating some resets with his flying magneto, does anybody have any vids with him?
