If you look closely Cable is wavedashing under Storm before she lands, and calls Mag assist while wavedashing to the other side, that’s why it comes out backwards.
Anyways, what I still don’t get is Storms airdash, it looks too fast.
Entirely probable that it’s an encoding glitch where it skipped frames.
Ok, I saw what happened. If you watch it frame by frame you can see that Cable is facing right when he calls Magneto. This means that Magneto comes from the left screen. The assist pulls Storm towards Cable just as she jumps, then Storm airdashes giving the illusion of a faster airdash.
