You’re guessing, though. I’ve got several million crashes I can show you that tell you why guessing is an outright horrible idea as people fish through the sea of crappy third party codecs hoping to find the only one that they need.
Yes, I generally ask people very very nicely to put the name of the codec used in the filename. No, that’s not a perfect solution, but it’s a pretty good one. :sad:
