videos r much appreciated, preppy.that team tournament video with kai and yipes at the end got me thinking. at first i thought that snapback from kai was completely random after getting hit by the 2 lk’s from magneto. but when i looked at it a couple of times it looks as if he delibrately took those 2 hits and knew psylocke would not connect going for the snapback right away. i don’t know maybe it was random. good match any way kai. west is the best.thx again preppy
not random at all, kai was telling me about this tactic last year at mwc… seems like psy will (always?) miss vs. strider, and since magneto is usually holding down, forward, it was a big risk and he took it 
and u can even hear kai say “imma take a gamble” or something like that moments before his match with Yipes
That strider shit was too fucking good, wonder is cl0ck knows of this
it won’t “always” miss. but there’s always a good chance it will because Strider is short. This does give strider an extra card to play when fighting MSP and some extra open options after magneto knocks him down and prepares for a mix up. And yeah, pretty much every strider player knows about it. Clock, Eddie Lee, Devil X, Kim, etc. all know about it. The snapback is just something i threw in as an extra gamble. Overall, this isn’t a tactic i would abuse very often ESPECIALLY in the beginning. It’s just something i keep an eye out for if the opportunity comes. And i’ll especially NEVER do it in most tourney situations. But since Yipes is a total badass who could probably own me faster than i can blink, i thought “what the hell, it’s worth a shot” and went for it.
One more thing. I wouldn’t really say i “deliberately” let Yipes hit me because I quick started Strider’s crouching lp, meaning if he had done anything else, i would’ve hit him and just played the match from there. I’d say it was more of I was “prepared” in the event Yipes hit me. :tup:
