Ok any tips on it?? I find poking against makoto is quite dangerous at times & tends to get me in trouble most of the time. Any ideas??

her SAs hurt yun badly.
Makoto have only one super that can hurt yun, SA1(my oppinion).
Why not SA2? Because whenever she will be in her side of the screen yun will be the one who sets the pace with the GJ and so on. Of course SA2 can hurt a lot and so on but if played right and carefully Yun and GJ will have the upper hand.
Dive kicks - Make sure to be really careful when using these, try, as always, to hit your opponent as low as possible. Mix up the dive-kicks a lot.
command throw - whenever you are able to pressure her this move is awesome against makoto.
The air-game can be tricky 'cause of makotos crazy kicks. However… yuns mk > makotos hk, yuns hk > makotos mk. + you have his chain and his crazy fp.
And run away A LOT like the lord says himself. She is annoying when you fall in her guessing game. But keep in mind that one GJ can easily kill makoto. She is very easy to juggle and you can do a lot on her you cant on others.
I dont know what more i can say mate. She is annoying when you play as yun. However, the more you play against makoto the more easy you read her. Good luck mate!
Watch some vids. A lot of makoto’s seem to have the same style when fighting yun. Watch for mistakes and punnish.
try to keep pressure on here full time if shes not using sa1, makoto has crazy high low guess games and its hard to stop her once she gets momentum
makoto doesn’t have any high low games.
maybe not high low in the way you’re thinking but thats what i call it
also her overheads are a bitch watch for those, and unless you play aggressive like i do try to keep out of command throw range cause one kara command throw could be the end and if you lose punch him in the eye and run :tup:

Sorry True, you can’t really rush a good Makoto down, because you have to get in close with Yun to do damage. And if ANYTHING gets parried, it’ll end up in a Karakusa. Which equals GGPO. And it’s even worse when she’s using SA2.

Seriously…no. Makoto doesn’t have high low mixups, pretty much landing a kara karakusa and keeping at the guy’s face. Between the two, Yun is more in favor of high low games which should be taken advantaged of during an in your face fight otherwise you get parried and that’s it.
And I don’t know wtf you mean by not rushing down…but pressure instead. Pretty bad play on of words. Using one of your examples, in the pyro vs ken-i vid, pyro didn’t really “pressure” he ran to build meter and waited for his chance to move in…but otherwise he was taking control of the air in order to avoid getting screwed by kara karakusas.
