im goin to work on the notes section tonight hehe
not really applied to just yun, but how do you choose the chef or the other alternate costumes? Seemed like all i could do was P for default and then K’s where color 2. Or is it something that needs to be done by code like Oni and Evil Ryu?
Believe its only possible if you have the card that Japan uses. Otherwise I don’t think we can get the alts.
wait wait wait, shoulder slam isnt safe? -3, -6, -7, -6 for jab, strong, fierce, ex
that looks mad unsafe
The person who manage to scan the frame data totally forgot to scan one full page about Yun… -___-
His framedata change when he activate his super
No combos are “required” to plink, plinking just makes it easier.
Pretty sure that it’s safe with spacing and push block, the numbers in frame data charts are all there for point blank ranges. They don’t take into account if you space the move perfectly or not.
Of course it’s still unsafe to things like chun li super which is 1 frame startup, ryu, zangief (if he’s close enough) etc…
what are the differences between the buttons you use for his command grab? recovery time?
Nothing.
The only differences rely in Normal and EX, regarding start up time, and range. EX probably has a special property attached to it.
All give Yun +7 when connected though.
Sorry if these have been asked before:
When people launch with hk after Super(Not in the corner), what lunge punch are they using? Also, when they have someone in the corner, same question. And are they using the mp palm when they do the double palm > lunge punch > repeat in the corner super combo?
Thanks.
I use lp lunge punch. As for in the corner, depends on the range/how high your opponent is in the air etc?
As for palm, besides the buttons, theres no difference between mp/hp palm. After double palm (geinei jin mode) in the corner, i think i usually use mp lunge punch to get back in, f.hp can probably reach too but im not sure.
Sounds good. Is it mostly just safe to assume f.mk + lp.lunge punch to get someone into the corner?
quick question, does ex.lunge punch have strike invincibility?
His feet are invincible throughout the active frames, but not the rest of his body.
okay, so lower body invincibility…mmm. alright thanks.
Sort of. The mook makes a distinction between “lower half” invincibility and “feet” invincibility.
i’m pretty sure that’s what allows it to go through fireballs (it does right?). In the Balrog forums we’re trying to figure out why headbutt whiffed against it as if it ran into an invisible hitbox or something, since I was thinking it could be AA’d with cr.hp…in theory, pretty sure you can grab it too, since that’s the case with MOST ex attacks.
EDIT: If he goes active while he’s airborne, then the throw is a no-go.
It doesn’t go through fireballs.
Yep, EX lunge is airborne while it’s active
Think you can still throw him on startup though.
