hey guys i play yun in endless battle but looking to make him my main i have a good understanding of how to play him i kw his bnb option selects resets safe jumps divekick mixup but 1 thing ive been trainning with is say bnb finish in heavy upkicks they tech knockdown say i light dive kick i kw i can crossup or from front or empty divekick commamd throw but my quistion here is if they dont quickrise ive been trying to get the timing down for same mixup but cant seem to get it down does amybody have a good technique also of a untech knockdown any help would be appreciated ty
You manually time the divekicks, just practice the timing of when you need to jump in relation to when you see the opponent wake up. Then it doesnt matter if they quickrise or not.
Main differences (keeping it simple) yang is safer but does less damage low risk low reward low health has to use alot of mix-ups slow divekick +1 safer then Yun’s. Yun is does higher damage no fadc on dragon kicks(dp) has a fast divekick,and confirms health is also low.They both good normals which with command grabs(guard break) makes them great but the grabs them selfs have slow start up.
Can someone please tell me where I can find Setups for Yun? I have been getting crushed my using unsafe dive kicks on wake up. Are these posted somewhere?
Hello everybody, I’m having a bit of difficulty fighting against Vega with Yun. Once I get in on him, I am at an advantage, but I’m having trouble doing that consistently. At mid range, his low strong seems to outrange Yun’s pokes, and his standing roundhouse seems to do a good job of shutting down dive kicks. Is there something I’m missing that I can use to get around these moves?
Also, what is it about the Chun Li fight that makes the fight largely in Yun’s favor? Does Yun have a lot of ways to get in on Chun easily? I feel like I’m not seeing, or that I’m missing something.
Mid range vega pokes are godlike,stay up close get a knockdown.Charges characters in general are weak to grabs they have to hold down back/think/no strong invincibility against grabs on startup (a strong player can over come that).Chun-li is not a come back type of character low health her wake up options and damage output are low + divekicks kill her.Having strong basics like grab teching,anti-airing,pokes and footsies can keep her from getting beat in the ground game (based on the player) but she has to be on that top of that the whole game even 1 ex shoulder pass her fireball can turn the game around.
