what are the big differences between the twins? could you say one maybe better than the other?

Japanese brains process information at 60 fps, that’s why they’re so good.

-They both have 3 angle divekick, but not instant like Rufus or even Cammy TKCS.
-Yun has a lunge punch similar to a Balrog dash straight or Makoto’s hayate, while Yang has Rekkas similar to Fei Long’s rekkas.
-They’re supers have different properties. Yun’s cancels his normals into eachother and allows for lots of juggles, while Yang’s creates silhouttes that allow his attacks to hit 3 times, which keeps opponents in longer hitstun/blockstun.
-They’re upkicks are different. Yang’s rolls on the ground.
-They have some different normals.
-Yang rollerblads, Yun skates.
-Yang uses mantis style kung fu, while Yun uses iron horse or something.

I think Yun uses a mix of Tiger and Crane. But that’s just my guess.

Craptastic. I think it’s very horrible. They could of give him something cool like street clothes to look like a skater.

well, i actually like it.

It’s part of his story (which most first alts were) and funny, though not ridiculous like blankas new alt.
I mean, i dont use alt costumes anyway but there are more terrible alternates, but a true skater outfit could have been good, if well made.

I actually dont mind the able new alt costume. I guess its because he looks like a french beach goer. and i’m french. lol

Abel’s my SSF4 main; moving to Yang or Chun with AE (not because of nerfs or anything; I just want to play a new character). I think that all his alts are worse than his default outfit. xD;

what is yun go to cross up move? dive kick only or mk?

Probably dive kick, maybe mk but Dive kick would be better.

I got a nice question, I was watching palm strike and fake palm in action, and it is might be a 50/50 guess on opponent’s wake up (for free chip damage, like a fireball after something… but it does a lot of it, assuming it’s safe on block) but the normal palm have range enough to catch good back dashes? Anyone ? Thanks…

mk overhead crossesup a downed opponent

ooh good question, I would like to know this as well.

Watching many of the videos, his shoulder check move (lp I’m assuming) looks SUPER safe, and many vids I’ve seen people are spamming s.mp (his normal elbow move) xx shoulder all day, and catching peeps all the time.

f.mk in genei jin after a launcher doesn’t launch as high as it did in 3rd strike, so that seems out of the question for juggling in the corner. Can we do shoulders all day until they reach the corner/run of out meter?

Anyone have conformation if Seattle gameworks has SSF4AE yet?

I forget the video,but it was an early vid from a couple months back of a Yun doing 3-4 shoulders midscreen all the way to corner. Most likely it made it to the final build so I would assume yes you can.

I’ve read a couple posts stating that Gameworks in Seattle is getting (I guess they should have them now) 2 AE Cabs. Haven’t checked myself. Yun’s style is mostly tiger I’d say, which would also match his personality.

onlinetony reversal super’d my ex shoulder. not sure if normal shoulders are punishable though. f.mk does juggle well with super but it doesnt knock as high as other moves. pretty sure i saw someone palm > overhead > palm > overhead over and over. gonna go check tomorrow if it works. and yes you can do shoulders until the opponent reaches the corner. i’m going to try to get some vids up.

ex shoulder is definitely not safe on block (if you get both hits that is). not sure if you did it max range if it would be safe or not.
