About the card list, I wouldn’t worry about it, I’m sure the DLC will flesh out a lot of the things we need still.

Does anybody know if playing stronger computer duelists gets you rarer cards? Because they do take a while to beat and would prefer to beat the single round computerss

as far as I can tell, you get better cards from the stronger computer duelists, and in general - you get better cards from higher scores.
I really wish you got cards from dueling other people in the same fashion - ie., in ranked matches - the higher the opponent’s rating, the better cards you get (win or lose).
Actually, it’s not the case. Other than getting Stardust Dragon from Yusei and Red Dragon Archfiend from Jack, it’s completely random what you get. And I mean RANDOM. I got Black Rose Dragon from like…the Lightsworn dude (I think his name’s Toshi).
Really? Damn. Then what’s the point of points? Hahaha
I swear duelist strength mattered, I guess I just randomly got better cards from the better opponents.

I think that they are using some f****ed up traditional format list for this game.:mad:
If your interested in dueling me, just send me an invite to me using the same name as my username for my XBL account. I still kinda wish there was some sort of rhyme or reasoning to the cards you win. Why couldn’t they of been nice and given us an “The A. Forces” spell card to start out
It’s not a traditional format list. It’s just the ban list from about a year ago.
I thought it was pretty sweet that they gave us a monster reborn, swords of revealing light, and magic cylinder.
Especially Swords…you need that shit early on.
I got a save from a friend and I’m up to something like ~600 cards. Some dude has 800 on a website.
I’ve been trying to work out how to edit the save file to just let you have 3 of everything, because the fun to me of a Yu Gi Oh computer game is to build decks and play with your friends rather than grind on the prelim NPCs for random cards. It’s impossible to do so far because the save file has some kind of checksum on it.
I still haven’t pulled Mirror Force, Goyo Guardian, or more than one Solemn Judgment.
getting REALLY tired of people dropping matches right before I get the last hit in. its happened at least three times since the weekend. yesterday I got accused of hacking the game to get cards. what the hell?
I’m running lightsworn, so I imagine people get pretty frustrated dueling against it (I hate dueling it in real life), but still take the loss and don’t get all salty.
I’ve been playing this game a lot recently and while I’ve managed to get some good cards I don’t have nearly enough to make a good deck, although it is satisfying to summon Obelisk The Tormentor and I’ve also come to like Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (I’ve been out of the Yu-Gi-Oh! scene for quite a while 'cos of my cards being stolen >:(. Still haven’t beaten Jack yet or that guy who has the Black-wing deck 
Would it be possible to make this thread a Yu-Gi-Oh! thread as a whole like for other games, deck/card discussions/tips etc?
happens to me alot to. i dont even play ranked anymore just a bunch of scrubby rage quitters.
Never played Ranked to begin with. Just playing single player to finish out my decks. Getting close too.
I have to get cracking on tag duels if I want to get those last two achievements.
I’m cool with this. after a quick search I couldn’t find the old Yu-Gi-Oh thread.
I wouldn’t mind passing on any of my old knowledge.
