YRSF Presents: Rise of the Underdogs- AE Tournament, Casuals & SBV Stream
The Fighting Game Community in the greater Toronto area and beyond continues to grow, develop, and inspire new players to begin competing.
YRSF would like to provide an opportunity for everyone to have a chance at experiencing the thrill of winning a tournament. As such we will feature an “amateur only” tournament on Oct 15th.
On that same weekend, several of our Top Canadian players will be making their way to Ohio to compete in Season’s Beatings Velocity. We will have a stream of SBV running on a large screen so please join us to cheer them on!
There will also be dedicated casual stations available throughout the event, please see below for additional details.

Amateur Bracket Featured Tournaments:

SSFIV: AE Singles Tournament 20 Player Bracket
-Bracket will be capped at 20 players, please pre-register in advance to secure your spot
-Matches will be run on the minimum number of setups possible to encourage spectating, opponent and match-up scouting, etc.
Eligibility Requirements:
Cannot have consistently/recently placed within top 5 at any local or Major tournaments - ideally we want to encourage new & lesser known players to come forth and compete
All possible registrants will be reviewed by our “Eligibility Review Team” (YRSF_BlitzMan & YRSF_White_R) to promote an even and balanced playing field.

Just Announced: 50/50 Raffle! $2.00 per ticket
50% of raffle ticket sales go towards supporting YRSF to assist in covering Hardware, marketing, and other miscellaneous costs and 50% goes into the Cash Pot to one lucky Winner.
There are a lot of hidden costs involved in keeping YRSF on its feet so we’re asking for some help from the community. Every dollar helps.
