How do you get rid of this screen? Over the past few months less and less videos were working and it’s come to the point now where no videos I go to watch work. I’ve installed the new flash player any number of times and nothing seems to change. Anyone have any ideas what’s wrong?
I’ve tried it in both IE and Fire Fox. I’ve also done everything suggested, like uninstalling the previous flash before installing the new one, among other things Youtube have suggested, but nothing works still.
Hmm, if you install both versions of adobe flash player 9 (1 for IE and 1 for FF), they should work from my experience. Sorry can’t help since I’m more of a hands on person.
Yeah, I’ve tried the Shockwave player but that didn’t work either… I’m gutted they’ve changed the player, Youtube world still used to work for me but they’ve changed that too.
Well I’m really confused now, I can veiw Youtube’s new player in embedded videos but not on Youtube it’s self. Would that indicate the player’s installed correctly? I emailed Youtube beut they just sent me this generic message.
What I noticed was that all the regional sites, like UK or France for example were usng the new player. But world Youtube (www.) was still using the old player. Now all of them are using the new player and I can’t watch anything. I hope they sort this problem soon, it’s really pissing me off…
