Sorry the video got laggy at the end. Just bought a new capture card and it gets laggy sometimes for some reason, need to fix it.

Though you are doing a cr. lpx3 into cr. lk into criminal upper maybe reduce a few of those hits to maximize your dmg instead of hit confirming so many hits? Scaling is killing you from maximizing that dmg.

Also what are some good long range pokes and good ways to get in on fireball spam?

That was a very bad Gief. Don’t expect better Gief’s to jump in on you like that. I don’t think he even greenhanded even once.
One cr.LP should maximize damage, although I recommend two for better hit confirm. Some good long range pokes are st.MK, st.HK, st.MP, f+MP, MK/LK Ruffian kicks (hit at max range). As for fireball spam Zonk through them, FA, neutral jump, Ultra 2 or c.MK.

It looked like dudley knew all the frame advantages in that match.
Should Cody be trying to zone dudley or attempt a rushdown? Seems like dudley has the advantage if you don’t zone him.
That’s a good question. I’ll upload a few more sets of the same matchup so everyone can get a better or closer in depth concept overall.

Agreed. At the same time… a few unsafe Ruffians by Jibbo. A good setup after mk ruffian is lp rocks into lk ruffian… frame trap so you can go in safely. I think he was just mk ruffian after throws and other ruffians to close space.
He had some nice block strings in at the end though… something I Need to work on. I need to get familiar with his normals. Coming my fuerte… thats like lolz.
