Your thoughts on SF #7?

I wish they’d get rid of the back-up stories altogether. They’re a badly drawn waste of pages and shorten the main plot.

i must agree somewhat. I dont really want to go into detail when it comes to talking shit about other artists(as artist to artist its kinda i dunno not really nice to talk shit i guess since everyone has there own style etc)but i find that most pics i have seen from the back up artist are imo a tad annoying to look at it. Im sure there are some people that look them though and there styles and thus if say some hard core fan of theres would probably would want the comic just to see more of there work or something shrug…

I found it entertaining, the art wasn’t to my taste but i didn’t dislike it so much that it was distracting me. (but I’m VERY picky anyway) It’s just nice to pick up an English language comic on Street Fighter every month where the writers really care about the story.

The story at the end with Ryu and Fighting though was quite off putting, it seemed like the writer was a Ken fan that wanted to show Ken teaching him a lesson, and I’m sure I’ve seen about 3 different origins of Ryu’s headband.
Dammit! now that I think of it, why does every costume change have to be the result of some symbolic event??! Can’t Ryu just buy a new headband? Next we’ll be seeing the death of Ryu’s slippers from SF1!

yeah and I’m getting bored of the Dan comic too.

But as I said before, the main story is a good read.
