As for favorite matchups. Ibuki/Yang that one is AWESOME. And Makoto/Dudley so much offense in that one and both characters can style on each other nastily. I also like Hugo/Alex.

Most fun:
Hugo - I fight him with extra viciousness due to the rivalry. ( I main Alex).
Least fun:
Oro - He’s so damn mobile, and hard as hell if the opponent has skill
Akuma - Damn tatsu juggle state, there’s a special place in hell for whoever thought that’d be a good idea.
Urien - Just a damn tough matchup, even worse for very skilled Uriens
Yun, because it’s my only bad matchup.
That said, I’ve yet to fight one in OE. In the arcade however, I used to get destroyed alot with them.
Ken Vs Ken & Ken Vs Yun are definitely two of my most enjoyable match-ups (Playing as either Ken or Yun). I feel like I’m sprinting on a tightrope while balancing an elephant and my prized laptop.
Urien Vs Hugo is another very fun one b/c Urien gets to play with a big toy (I’ll play as Urien).
Makoto Vs Gouki is fun b/c Makoto wins with one grab, but Gouki is hard as hell to catch while he’s mixing Makoto up to death (I’ll play as either).

The Dudley mirror is soooo much fun, whoever is more disrespectful/scummier wins.
I find the DU v CH match up interesting, its a good challenge and makes you pick your spots more wisely.
DU v IB Q AL HU, I just love seeing the damage/stun that Dudley can do against them.
Dudley vs Ryu is the best match up in the game imo.

Most: Anyone Vs Twelve. Feels so good to ground that flying ugliness.
Least: Anyone Vs Hugo oddly enough. It feels like I have to chip away at him but if he catches me then all my blood gets on the ground very fast.
Not really a character but a player. Anyone who wake-up DPs/supers a lot, because I can get hit by 5 of them in the same round and still not learn.

I don’t particularly hate any match-ups, BUT there are some characters I LOVE beating-
my guilty pleasures on characters to beat on- CHUN/KEN/RYU/AKUMA/YUN/YANG/MAKOTO
characters that I absolutely love and hard to beat on- HUGO/ORO/TWELVE/Q/ALEX/REMY/SEAN
characters that are good match ups and fun either way to play against- URIEN/OTHER NECROS/IBUKI/ELENA/DUDLEY
I hate playing vs. Ken. Pestering little tier whore. I respect playing Yun’s because he’s actually kinda hard to play safely. I like Mak/Mak matchups. Every movement feels scary as shit. Who’s getting karakusa’d first? Jab anti>dash under karakusa. Should I jump? There are a lot of options and dangerous things to do in a Mak/Mak matchup and the best thing about it is that the match is never really decided by who’s dominating because it can turn on a single chokehold
I suck against good oros.
As a fairly new Oro player who’s getting a decent feel for his normal ranges and starting to get into his combos, and beating on players with more combo knowledge than me as a result…
Most fun matchup: Decent Kens (they’re a fun challenge), pretty much everyone but Ryu and Akuma as long as the connection’s okay. Yes, even including Chun, even though her matchup against Oro is apparently 8-2 in her favor. I think this is because I’ve yet to play even one good Chun. As a newish player, it’s fun to play a completely fresh game, learning matchups from the start. I had some really fun fights against a Necro player today, wound up friending him.
Least fun matchup: Akuma. Seriously, he’s EVERYWHERE. He’s like SF4 Ken back when the game first came out. Ryu is a distant second, but the players using him at least seem to think a little more than the DERP AIR FIREBALLS AND AIR TATSUS LET ME WIN Akumas. And I have to include above-average Kens, because I actually face those now and then, and his pokes seem to outrank and outprioritize mine all over. Feels like he can just do whatever and get away with it when he’s in the right hands.
