You aren’t even that good. Practice more.
Chea! I just speak the truth.
I am 1-0 against him in ST tourney play.
GO HOME AND BE A FAMILY MAN!
Losing to this guy must suck.
Anyway, my goal is top 8. Still one win away from top 8. Highest I’ve been getting is 13th.
i wanna make friends and have a good time
you want to make friends with animes
Just go to Evolution and hang out with Mike Watson, he’s around your age bracket. :bgrin:
…to have fun.
It indirectly leads to playing more and wanting to learn more about the game. It all works out for me in the end
First off, I just wanted to say that I think this is a really cool idea for a thread. People make a lot of random, silly threads that never really go anywhere, but I think it’s really interesting to just step back and see what makes the players of our community tick.
I am by no means a top player, nor do I have any delusions of ever being so. It’s been sort of hard for me as a 3rd Strike player from the Midwest, especially because I use a character that requires a lot of experience and practice in order to be used correctly. When it boils down, I have pretty simple aspirations. I have never been concerned with winning “the big one” or earning enough money to pay for college or anything like that. I think all that I’ve ever wanted and ever will want is for people that play me to be like, “Damn, Flexo’s got a sick-ass Urien!” I just want to people to remember me after they’ve played me, that’s all.
My goal is to place top 10 in every tournament I go too. I may never win. I dont ever NEED to win. But in my mind, placing top 10 is enough so that the winners won’t underestimate you.
I hate people playing easy on me because they think I’m trash. Sometimes you have to beat respect into people IMO.
Also, I want to get good enough in SFIV to play against Daigo. Just playing against him would suffice
To find decent competition so I can get better.
My goal is to take my love of fighting games and turn it into something that ends up worthwhile. Whether it be competing, creating, commentating or whatever I want to get involved.
KMD, nicely phrased.
For me, it’s flawless control. I want to become good enough so that when I enter a comand, want to execute a combo… it works. At least, unless my fellow co-player has better laid out plans. :bgrin:
Example: BlazBlue looks like it will have awesome mind-games… but also a high demand for great execution to be able to enjoy them.
So yeah, that’s enough for me. To get to the point where it’s mostly about wits and hardly about execution.
My goal as a player is to be able to perform in all 2d fighters and even some 3d, I want to be able to play whatever, whenever, and be able to hang with the local comp. I want to master both ST and Garou: MotW, only problem is the only comp is about 3 hours away. Which leads me to my last goal, which is to start a local scene. It is going to be difficult after losing our last real arcade this summer, but im hoping I can boost the number of local players from the 4 its at now to at least 20 consistent members. I have no real idea on how to do that, except trying to get the local Brawl kids to cross over.
Andy, come on now. Lets be nice to eachother. Dont say I dont hand out ass whoopins.
scratch my back nigga
I want to get better with a stick and up my 3S game. Im also moving to Cali in half a year, so I want to meet some brutal players around San Diego who will put up with me until I catch up with them.
Do you work for Liberty Mutual?
To deter your goals as a player.
To win a tournament in any game, no matter small, just once.
nope, sorry
