Be the Best with Zappa GGX
Be the best worst player.
I would like to win a single Guilty Gear tourney. I would like to master any one game. I will never stop playing games even when i’m 87 and i can’t see for shit. Maybe one day get into the game industry and help keep fighting games alive in the future. Most of all i want to have fun with what i’m doing, and represent the USA in 1st place in whatever i decide to do.
Help K.O or Boss to finally win the damn thing.
Goddamnit I came into this thread hoping I’d be the first to reference this
I guess I want to become a lot better at playing Chipp in GG: AC, and Akuma/Dudley in 3s
Oh yeah, and I want to play/be mediocre at Bison in SFIV
Be known as one of the youngest high level players, I"m 16 at the moment and I at least wanna place in something before I hit 17. >.<

To be so good at 3s players refuse to play me after I shame them with Q.
for now flawlessly doing a dragon punch left and right side. I dunno how many times i want to get a dp for AA but a fucking hado comes out. blah
My goals are:
-
Qualify for SC4 nationals.
-
At Evo next year, qualify out of my pool in SC4, SF4, HD Remix, & Guilty Gear (or however many of those make it in) and place top 8 in at least one of them.
-
Continue to go undefeated in World Heroes Perfect. =P
Play well in a tournament without being nervous.
Make top 3 in CvS2 and top 8 in 3S in any local tourney with a decent turnout.
Learning a fucking 3D game, Ex: not sucking at SC IV.
Don’t lose.
Don’t count on that next time we’re in the vicinity of one another.
To stop facing Chibi first round in every tourney I enter.
i want to rise to the expectations of my “potential”, that is, the hype that ive gotten as a player, i really want to live up to it, so in the future, when people name the top players from my area, im on that list.
and enjoy myself, because if i cant have fun playing a game, then its not much of a game to me anymore.
To destroy.
I want to buy a stick so that I can be comfortable using it on the reg at the arcade. It may be time to finally put the pad down.
I also want to get good at 3S (SFIV too whenever I get to play it) so I can put up a fight at CTF. I don’t care about losing, but it’s better for me to lose knowing I was gettin’ in as well and learn something from it.
Finally, get good enough to play in a tournament!
It seems like one must put in crazy hours and money (at the arcade) to accomplish this stuff so we’ll see. Finding time to learn the in & outs of a game is type difficult.
I’m 31 and have a son so I’m not shooting too high. I would like to someday not suck in at least one game. This will probably have to involve GGPO since there is no local competition, I’m not interested in traveling, and I’d feel weird hanging out with a bunch of kids playing games anyway.
Build a scene/find good comp in a game that grabs me enough to really work at it.
To be able to play The best fighting video games(VF5R,GGX:AC,SC4 and Marvel 2) online without having fucking lag and delay(That way I can have fun since there is no local competition).Oh and also, to win a Marvel 2 tourney without using the top 4 in my team!
My goals as a player? First I want to get good enough to hang casually with the arcade players in other countries like Korea, China, Mexico, and Japan. Also, I want to be an all around player in ALL fighting games. I am pretty much almost there since I play so many fighting games.
Great topic and question to ask by the way!
- Put on for my state.
