1- Nash. Loving his gameplay. I think it’s gonna be sweet.
2- Mika. Tested her a little bit in a friend’s house during the beta, I think I can work well with her.
3- Bison. I don’t usually like charge characters but I really like him, and he’s awesome in SFV. I actually think he might get nerfed evetually.
I will be messing with every character though, specially Ryu, since he’s the “base” SF character. Won’t be doing anything serious with him though, I honestly hate the parry thing.
So far I’m interested in Ken, Ryu and Laura.
I’ll only have 1 main though, learning everybody to a basic extent and go with whoever I feel the most comfortable with.
I don’t apply to the “I only play females” rule at all but I guess I can kinda understand it. Normaly I just like female characters way more. I don’t know why that is, maybe it’s due to a lack of frequency to which I find an interesting female protagonist. I don’t think that there is any explanation though, it’s just taste. And maybe a matter of identification, for some people.
I want to play someone who appeals to me. Women appeal to me. If men appeal to you, that’s fine, but if I like women.
Also, a big reason why I only play females, is because of people who think it’s weird, and get super ass devastated when they lose to a female character, because only fags play females or something, and they can’t lose to a fag, THEY ARE MEN!
Agreed. There is something quite satisfying about rushing down or outplaying a big burly character like Gief Tager with a small fragile girl or woman.
And we all like male characters too. I like Iron man and a bunch of other male super heros. But in certain games I play I want to control the female because she is cute or sexy or I just like her personality. I buy the Tomb Raider games because I like Lara Croft. I don’t buy the Uncharted games. However I do buy the metal gear solid games and the Assassin’s Creed games. The main characters there are male and I enjoy playing ass them. So it all depends. People are too quick to judge others. You are only getting a glimpse of another person’s interests. You don’t know their story. And even if what you see is the whole story, so what? Just live and let live. People who are playing as female only characters are not telling others to boycott the male characters. So who is the person with the real problem? The one who gets on with it doing their own thing or the other one saying that person has a problem for not liking what I like?
Oh yeah, for sure. I’m a huge, HUGE Spider-man fan, but I never even thought about playing him in Marvel. Also, in games where a male is the only option, that doesn’t prevent me from enjoying the game. Hell one of my most favorite non-FG series of all time is the Metal Gear Solid series. Though I do think it’s great when you get to play a female in those games as a bonus, like in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. I played through the whole game as Ryu, then I unlocked the girls, and played through the whole game again switching between the female characters.
It’s just, when given the choice, I will always choose the female character.
