Until dlc characters come out then who knows, juri and ibuki were my mains in 4.
People like different things. Shocking, I know.
I have personally always mained female characters in fighters. I have no idea why, but I’ve noticed that most designers and developers really take the time to make the female characters as bad ass and as great as possible. Not only that they are sexy…lol, but yea I’ve always gravitated toward female characters more than anything. However, some fighters it’s a different story. For example, in MK I prefer the male characters to the female characters. It really just depends on the person. No harm, no foul.
It doesn’t has to.
But for me, nether a male character in SF really amazed me.
I pick the chars that seem to be interesting for me and I like to explore their backgrounds,goals and abilitys.
But I only end with females, because they’re all more interesting than the guys of SF.
The only male in SF I really like is Rolento and thats probably because he is Big Boss.
I’m kinda interested in Rashid too, lets see how he developes.
Doesn’t really matter the gender. Just whoever catches my eyes. A majority of that is the girls.
Those are my mains. Im so happy shes not a charge character in this game.

I might swap out Chun for Charlie, not sure yet.
main so far is Nash. didn’t like the way Rashid turned out in the betas so maybe Ryu or Dhalsim as secondaries. can’t wait for Alex but who knows what they will do with him.

Nash because infiltration is teaching me how to use him with his streams.
Necalli because I need a non fireballer in my roster of characters, and I like his all day v trigger. But necalli might be subbed out for mika or birdie.
Once I try out those 3 characters I’m going to pick up my considered top tier character as my main sub to Chun. And one of the other characters mentioned will be in there as well. But I can’t for the life of me say I’ll definitely Amin any character other than Chun. And even she’s kinda in the wing a bit, but I do like her gameplay.
Necalli has command grabs though and I think command grabs are always string because they force certain counter measures.
Also looking to ibuki to see if she has what want from this game… Whenever she comes out.
