Young Fighters in Street Fighter

I thinking in the next street fighter game;why just NPCs such as:
Mel:Son of Ken Masters
Datta:Son of Dhalsim
Li-Fen:Adoptive Daughter of Chun-Li
They will be in their teens or early 20s.
It just like Ed and Kolin are not playable in the previous street fighter games; but now they playable in “Street Fighter V”.
