AH i see, that make sense. Lots of meter. But makes sense. For 4 meters it better do 450 damage lol if not its probably a waste

i thought about really good HP-hayate FADC combo (character specific).

SHIT , the karakusa + HP + EX Hayyate + FADC+ fukiage lp + tsurugi ex in mid sreen combo is character specific, fei long and bison no working :frowning: i no test more, )

not sure if this belongs here but i found a set up for her kara-kara using st lk. you can do HP + level 1 medium punch Hayate, crouching LK+ HC - kara-kara. It gives you the proper spacing and seems kinda practical to use. Oh it has to be HK karakusa

I didn’t see this combo on the video that highlighted the counterhit combos nor did I search the thread for them but I remember this CH combo that worked in SSF4. Didn’t test it out in AE yet but I think it should still work.

Counterhit FP > Hayate Feint link into Ultra 1.

as a note the spacing is thrown off for larger characters like Zangief, but i have also found it useful after crossup f-HK on grounded opponents

Does the LK hit, whiff, or get blocked? i was thinking about a lot of combos that would work off of it whiffing. but i’m on my way home now to confirm! Wife’s got to work so guess what, is AE ALL NIGHT BABY

crouching Lk connects but you have to Hayate cancel it to maintain proper spacing, standing LK will whif as you cancel into karakusa

if you are talking about the s.LK then it has to whiff in order for karakusa to grab. Otherwise they’re in block stun…

CH f.mp, cr.lk, EX Hayate

Linking the cr.lk after CH f.mp was possible in console Super, but now it’s lethal instead of just gimmicky. f.mp makes for a great blockstring component, and this is a good way to keep them from pressing buttons. A big part of her game is just going to be landing EX hayate in the corner, so here you go.

Did anyone figured out some new setups for the s.lk xx KaraKrarakusa.
Nothing new found, it’s nice after f.hk crossup und really easy to execute.

Ok guys i’ve been working on these calculations. Something to note though: these are all based on general wakeup times. Of course there are a couple of character specific times (like Adon’s), but these may have been changed, so I will use the general values from super. Maybe someone could test these to see if they work??

Anyway, hopefully these calculations are correct (or at least close…). Here we go. Round 1…

After Backthrow - 60F of wakeup

DashX3, (meaty) st M =60f

St.HK, Dash, (meaty) st. HK=60f

Dash, c. LK, (meaty) MP Oroshi = 60f

MP Fukiage, (meaty) f. MP=60f

St HP, Dash, (meaty) HK Karakusa=60f

After c.HP - 45F of wakeup

Dash, (meaty) MP Oroshi=45f

solo (meaty) F. HK =45f

NJ (whiff atk), (meaty) MP Hayate=45 Frames

TC2, (meaty) HP Hayate=45 Frames

c.HP (whiff), (meaty) HK Karakusa=45f

Can anyone confirm?

nah man you can kara it late ive got used to the timing. if u do it to fast the blockstun will screw u over. Its still easier then the old way so i rather do the delay slk kara then the fwd lk one lol lol

The meaty oroshi setup dont work anymore, since we were hitting with last frame in super

yeah i was looking at that. Its weird though, because it stil adds up… unless i’m missing something.

So maybe I’m calculating wrong? The wakup after c.HP is 45f, so according to this it should hit. I’m not sure what i’m missing…
